Though not overly tall, Calico has a lovely stocky build which gives her the appearance of being taller than she actually is. She has her mother's lovely movement and a sweet tempement, in fact she's her mother all over, only in a slightly smaller package. Calico is a Shetland filly well worth retaining and breeding to see what she can produce in a few years time.

This lovely filly is out of our older mare, Stardust, born in the wee hours of the morning under a full moon, hence her naming. Still very leggy, and at 1yo, already as tall as her mother, it's expected for her to grow to a handy 10h. Already she has a reserve champion sash to her name, so we will see how she grows over the next couple of years.
